This project is a conceptual redesign of Lana Del Rey’s Born to Die album cover, visually reflecting the album’s critique of the American Dream. The design explores the darker side of fame, love, and wealth, challenging the illusion of these ideals as paths to true happiness. Inspired by the album’s lyrical depth and cinematic tone, the cover reinterprets its four core themes: Nostalgia, Fame, Love, and Cinematic Melancholy. The artwork captures the sense of loss, decay, and disillusionment that runs through the album, offering a moody, symbolic representation of a world where beauty and glamour are tinged with sadness.
